Adventures of Luisa Rey

1973, San Francisco, California. Luisa Rey, journalist in Spyglass Magazine, meets Rufus Sixsmith, already present character in Robert Frobisher's story but older and become nuclear a physicist. Sixsmith informs Rey of an important problem of safety of a new nuclear power plant managed by Lloyd Hooks, but before to bring her the proof, he is murdered by Bill Smoke, a killer sent by Hooks. Issac Sachs, another scientist working for the power plant passes transmits to Rey a copy of the report of Sixsmith. However, Smoke kills Sachs and brings down Rey of a bridge.Rey escapes death but loses the copy of the report in the accident.
Thanks to Joe Napier's assistant, safety manager of the power plant, Rey will go out alive of a new assassination attempt, will understand that it is in fact about a machination of oil companies to reduce the use of the nuclear power to their profit and be possible publish business.
One finds the duo of actors Tom Hanks (Isaac Sachs) and Halle Berry (Luisa Rey) in the adventures of Zachry and Meronym.
